Waste Go is a biological wastewater treatment specially formulated to eliminate grease and waste. It uses a special combination of natural bacteria and enzymes to digest organic waste converting it back to water, carbon dioxide and small amounts of mineral. It is most commonly used to solve grease and organic loading problems in Sewage Treatment Plants, Lagoons, Cesspools and Grease Traps. Waste Go comes in dry powder form and has up to a 5 year shelf life if stored in a cool dry place.
Specially Formulated to Eliminate Grease and Waste in Commercial:
Grease Traps - Septic Tanks - Cesspools - Lagoons - Sewage Treatment Plants
Grease Trap Dosage Rates
Initial Dosage: Mix and let stand no longer than 1 hour while cleaning trap. (Remove solids and liquids)
0 – 100 gallons = 2lb Waste-Go mixed in 4 gallons warm water and pour into cleaned trap.
100 – 500 gallons = 4lbs Waste-Go mixed in 5 gallons warm water and pour into cleaned trap.
500 – 1,000 gallons = 8lbs Waste-Go mixed in 10 gallons warm water and pour into cleaned trap.
1,000 – 2,000 gallons = 12lbs Waste-Go mixed in 15 gallons warm water and pour into cleaned trap.
Maintenance Dosage: Apply every night after all clean-up is done to a drain leading to the grease trap
0 – 100 gallons = 1/2 cup Waste-Go mixed in 1 gallon warm water
100 – 500 gallons = 1 cup Waste-Go mixed in 2 gallons of warm water
500 – 1,000 gallons = 2 cups Waste-Go mixed in 4 gallons of warm water
1,000 – 2,000 gallons = 4 cups Waste-Go mixed in 8 gallons of warm water
Dosage Rates may vary depending on flow, meals served and sanitizers used. Adjust ↑or ↓as needed.
Sewage Treatment Plants / Lagoons / Lift Stations / Commercial Septic Tanks
Initial Dosage: Amount calculated by total volume of tank / lagoon to be treated. Apply 5 days in a row.
1 pound for 0 - 16,000 gallons of volume if tank is dead or has no activity.
1 pound for 0 - 25,000 gallons of volume if tank has some activity but also has solids buildup and scum.
1 pound for 0- 50,000 gallons of volume if tank have some activity and minimal buildup.
Example: If you have 300,000 gallons total volume with solids build up and scum, you would need 300,000 ÷ 25,000 = 12 pounds per day for 5 days in a row as an initial dosage
1 pound for each 100,000 gallons as a weekly maintenance dosage. This dosage can be adjusted ↑or ↓ as needed. If solids and scum start to build up increase the weekly dosage.
Example: If you have 300,000 gallons total volume the maintenance dosage would be 3lbs per week.
**All systems are different and there are many variables that will affect how much product is needed to keep them clean. These dosage rates are a suggested starting point and may need to be adjusted ↑ or ↓ depending on the results you are seeing. A neutralizer like Kontrol may be needed if pH is low or sanitizers are an issue. Contact your Waste-Go distributor for more information.
